To the Abby Cat Daddy website.Overview
I approached the owner of Abby Cat Daddy (ACD), a Fraser Valley based cat rescue to see if they needed any help with their website. Cat rescue is near and dear to my hear, so I felt that there was a need to get more visibility to the rescue.
The owner was elated to have assistance on the digital side of things. They needed some graphics for social media and allowed me to do whatever I could with the free version of their WordPress site.

The Process
I started by talking with the owner to figure out what the needs for the rescue were. Afterwards I did several hours of research on what rescues typically needed with their online presence and what information was important for them to have. Using my research I took a look through the free version of WordPress (with no external hosting or plugins) and I started figuring out what I could do with the sites layout and design. While options were limited I felt that it was an interesting challenge.
Later on
They requested that I write newsletter articles for them, as well as provide regular cat graphics (with their name and some interesting elements around their existing photos, and do regular site maintenance. Those projects are ongoing.
